Axis Surveys is a Brisbane-based surveying company, specialising in providing quick, accurate and cost effective surveying services to builders, developers and the public. We service South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales from Coffs Harbour to Gympie and stretching to Gatton in the West. Our most sought after services include contour and detail surveys which set the standard in the industry and house setouts and remarking property boundaries. Our equipment is state-of-the-art so our work is fast and accurate. Axis Surveys is the trading name of DB Thompson and Associates which incorporated in 1987, when they won the contract to survey the Movie World and Wet and Wild sites. Bruce Thompson has developed a wealth of experience with over 25 years in the surveying and development industries. He has worked with some of Brisbane's largest developers in residential and commercial real estate. Richard Shinkfield has been in the industry for eight years and has been largely responsible for the company's success in the building industry. Axis Surveys is based on the successful working partnership Richard and Bruce have established over the years. We have a strong alliance with Saunders Havill Group, Consulting Surveyors, which gives us direct access to town planning services and advice and strengthens our resources and contacts.
